Raagjeet Garg

Raagjeet Garg was appointed to General Manager of Consumer Products Division in May 2021. Raagjeet is a passionate and driven complete leader who has been successful in building people orientated culture in the different and diverse countries where he has been assigned.

 

After a few years at Henkel and Marico, he has spent the last 12 years of his career in Consumer Products Division (CPD) in India, France and Australia, working on all the brands of the division. He launched Garnier Men successfully for India in 2009 and made it the Number 1 Men’s cleansing brand. He moved in 2012 to Paris and worked with the Garnier DMI building his international network and developing products for South Asia. In 2014, Raagjeet took leadership of the Garnier Hub in India where he helped build a strong innovation funnel for the group.

 

In 2015, he moved as the General Manager for L’Oréal Paris in India. Under his leadership, he developed the Ecommerce business for L’Oréal Paris in India and turned around the Elvive business model and made it profitable. His commercial acumen and business understanding helped grow L’Oréal Paris double digit in India throughout his tenure. Post his successful stint in India, Raagjeet relocated to Australia in 2019 to be L’Oréal Paris General Manager in a mature and developed market where the dynamics were very different from emerging countries. Raagjeet was able to make an immediate positive impact in Australia with his strong business knowledge, team leadership and cross-functional collaboration. Under his leadership, the L’Oréal Paris team reached new heights on Ecommerce acceleration, built a powerful masterbrand platform and co-created IMC campaigns with Australia’s leading retailer partners. The 2020 business results on L’Oréal Paris have been excellent, with strong gains of market shares for the number one beauty brand in Australia, with the brand in particular become the No.1 skin care brand in Australia.
