The Beauty For A Better Life Programme was established by L’Oréal India in 2009, with an aim to create livelihood opportunities for young women from disadvantaged sections of society.

The L’Oréal India For Young Women in Science (FYWIS) Scholarship programme is a countrywide initiative which encourages and supports young women to pursue their careers in science.

L'Oréal India received the prestigious EDGE (Economic Dividends for Gender Equality) certification for the third time in 2019. It is the only FMCG company and one of only five organisations in India to be accredited with the advanced MOVE level of certification.
