Prioritising gender equality at L’Oréal Australia

In 2015, along with my executive team, I set out to change the way L’Oréal Australia approached gender equality because I knew we needed to do better. We’ve come a long way since then with a united focus on provide equal access, equal opportunity and equal rewards regardless of gender. We have changed key policies around flexible work, implemented equal parental leave, conducted annual pay audits to ensure pay equity within our business, and have provided clear career pathways for women into senior leadership roles with 50/50 representation at executive level in 2021.

Progressing gender equality in the workplace

L’Oréal Australia partners with The Father Hood One key part of our gender equality strategy is understanding that by providing working dads with access to equal parent leave and flexible working arrangements, and encouraging its uptake is integral to progressing gender equality in the workplace. By supporting men to take parental leave and utilise flexible work arrangements we are part of the movement to benefit families, organisations and society, and to make a positive impact on workplace gender equality.
